"Hudson" Rope Storage Basket
The Hudson is a rope basket that measures approximately 10 inches across the base, and approximately 4 inches in height. This basket is a great size to place on a dining room table to store napkins, salt and pepper shakers, etc, on a coffee table to store remote controls, coasters, etc, or to display plants, candles or beautiful objects just about anywhere. The style of these baskets fits with scandinavian decor, modern decor, minimalist decor, boho decor, farmhouse decor and the baskets tie into a cozy "hygge" aesthetic.
This basket is made with a cotton/poly rope, with a 100% cotton outer sleeve (everything that you can see and touch on the basket) and a poly core for durability and longevity. The piece is coiled into a basket and shaped by hand as it is sewn. It can be spot cleaned and hand washed in cool to luke-warm soapy water, and left to air dry in a well ventilated space.
The Hudson is shown here in light gray, but is also available in black, charcoal, navy blue, teal, linen, and natural off-white.
As is true of so many things that are hand made, there is no such thing as two identical pieces. Although the measurements of your piece will be very close to those stated above, colors will vary slightly between pieces, as will natural variations in the rope itself. This is all part of what make handmade items unique and charming.
